Radiography Continuing Education Course – Taking the Fear Out of Cranial Positioning 

Cranial Radiography, Pathology, Simulation Positioning and Analysis, and Digital Radiography 

This course is designed for those looking to build upon their skills in skull, facial and sinus positioning.

This continuing education course will include a presentation, image presentation and simulation component. The simulation will include a hands-on skills-building session. In our simulation lab we will be exposing phantom skull body parts. Positioning and image production will be analyzed for quality. This is two credit continuing education course for the first half. A can’t miss course for Radiologic Technologists!

Cardiac Skills Day

This skills day will cover assessment, treatment, and management of cardiac emergencies such as acute MI’s, congestive heart failure, and cardiopulmonary arrest. The hands-on portion will cover: EKG, art lines, crash cart assessment, and cardioversion.

November 3

Time: 9 am - 12 pm

Venipuncture 101 Skills Day

This skills day is for individuals who are interested in reviewing IV therapy. We will focus on concepts, techniques, and best practices. The hands-on Sim Lab portion will allow for practice with peripheral, IV access and insertion.

National Radiologic Technology Week (Rad Tech Week) 

The celebration takes place each year during the week that includes November 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on Nov. 8, 1895.
