Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Juli Daniels, Ph.D., CCRN, CNE, NEA-BC, LHRM

Dr. Juli Daniels, Ph.D., CCRN, CNE, NEA-BC, LHRM will be joining Resurrection University as the Dean of the College of Nursing.
For over 30 years, Dr. Daniels has been an executive coach, educator, mentor, and advocate for nurses. Dr. Daniels has served in various leadership roles as Nursing Director for Critical Care, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Services, Risk Management Consultant, Assistant Vice President for Patient Care Services, Executive Leader in academic settings, and as a Board Member for hospital organizations.
In addition to her extensive teaching experience, Dr. Daniels has served as Dean for Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral Nursing programs in Florida, Illinois, and Virginia. Previously, Dr. Daniels served as Chair of the RN to BSN program at Miami Dade College, and she most recently received the Florida Nurses Association State Nurse Administrator award earlier this year.
Dr. Daniels has also served hospitals as a national consultant focusing on clinical/ leadership excellence and accreditation readiness. She has published in journals nationally and internationally, and has served as consultant for acute care organizations, including Duke University, Lee Memorial Health System, Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA), and Health Management Associates (HMA).
Dr. Daniels is an established leader in her community and an active member of American Nurses Association/Florida Nurse Association (ANA/FNA), Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society (STTI), American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and American Organization of Nursing Executives (AONE).
Dr. Daniels received her Associate and Bachelor degrees from the University of Evansville, a Masters in Nursing from the University of Kentucky, and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of South Florida.
